I’ve been keen on buying the paediatric balm for a while because both my kids suffer terribly with cold sores when they’ve been sick and it’s definitely my new go to. For myself as well. I love that there’s something for all ages. The products are a bit more expensive than the general product in store but definitely worth the price tag. And the fact that it’s suitable for the whole area from your nose to your lips is a huge plus because my nose gets extremely sore when I have colds in winter. I’ll be recommending the balm and fluid to everyone.
The texture of the balm in both forms are so smooth and smells great. The pediatric balm smells absolutely delicious, my little girl couldn’t stop saying “hmmmmm” when I applied it to her nose. The balms are so rich- a little goes a really long way. The packaging /lids are solid. My little one got hold of it and couldn’t open it. She proceeded to drop it repeatedly and it didn’t break and luckily the product was still in tact.
My 10 year old used it and he was highly satisfied. It also absorbs quickly so no sticky lips against masks as some other lip balms do. I used it for my chapped lips from the Cape Town wind/cold as well as a cold I had the week prior. I applied the balm at home (when my hands were clean) and it works. My “winter lips” was back to normal in record time- 3 days.
My toddler had a snotty nose so her general nose area was extremely dry/red and I applied it throughout the day and she was comfy and content with nose wiping instead of crying from the pain/irritation. I also applied it to her lips without a fuss. Another thing I used it for but not listed on the packaging is on her cuticles. It’s very cold and her little cuticles were red and the skin was peeling on some fingers. I cut off the skin that was loose with nail clippers and I rubbed some balm on every finger before bed every night for 3 days. It worked wonders! After 2 applications the redness was gone and today there’s no sign that her fingers were even sore.
